What a lot code is, and what it is not
A lot code identifies a production run. If a problem is found in a batch, the code is how a maker works out which tubs are affected and which are not. That is its entire job, and it is a useful one.
What a lot code is not: proof that anything was tested. A certificate of analysis is a separate document, produced by a laboratory, listing what was measured and what was found. We do not have one for this product, and a code on a tub does not stand in for it. If a seller anywhere tells you a batch number means the product has been lab-verified, that is not what a batch number means.
